Ipeta Secondary schools to benefit from a new well drilled and donated by Reach Out Tanzania.

The students of Ipeta Secondary School in the Kilolo District frequently go vast distances to fetch water. This has a significant detrimental influence on their academic performance since they arrive at class late and exhausted, preventing them from concentrating and catching up on school curricula.

The Ipeta Secondary management invited Board Member Brian Kikoti as an official guest to the Form Four graduation ceremony a year ago.

In their speech to Mr Brian Kikoti, the form four students asked for assistance with the water well. In response to this request, Reach Out Tanzania and Rick Plan have commenced drilling a water well to ensure that students invest their time in education rather than spending much time walking in fetching water. Students will benefit greatly from the availability of the well since they will be able to successfully participate in school and boost their learning.

Wells drilled with the support of Reach Out Tanzania are nearing completion at Ipeta Secondary School.
